Trump Responds to Manafort Indictment: 'This Is Years Ago'
A few hours after Paul Manafort walked into a federal court in Washington on Monday, President Trump addressed the furor surrounding his former campaign manager, who is among the first people to face criminal charges stemming from the probe conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.Shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Trump tweeted:
"Sorry, but this is years ago, before Paul Manafort was part of the Trump campaign. But why aren't Crooked Hillary & the Dems the focus?????"
"....Also, there is NO COLLUSION!," the president tweeted moments later.
